Life's a Beach... Apparently a frozen one!

The musical stadium at the University. Built for function, but with beauty in mind.
Not all icicles come on lighted strands you can buy at Target.... Go figure :)

Through the snow we found beautiful buildings and sidewalk sculptures.... this place is full of surprises.

We ate at this fancy restaurant Amy and Laura ate reindeer, I had cheesy beef. They loved their dinner, mine was.... well.... dessert was AMAZING!

The Only Blizzard I've seen is at Dairy Queen...

Us waiting for our flight, so apparently no one works on sundays in stockholm, the airport was a grave yard
Beth! why didn't you tell us there'd be snow?!
Our home for the first week...oww cozy
I wanna get steve this breitling clock in the airport, so awesome!
Our first trip to Coop, the grocery store.

Day 1

This is us (Amy, Laura, Beth, and Michaelene) in Jersey with NYC in the background. You can't see it but I was the first time I had ever seen the city even though it was very tiny :)

So we were fairly close to Sweden, like hour 20 in the air, and the outside air temp was -83 F. We had no idea what were in for.

It felt like we were never going to get to Sweden, but we did. To our surprise, there was snow everywhere, shocker  right?

Are we there yet?

Valkomna!!!!

That's Welcome, for all you english speakers.
So for the next 23 days Beth, the brave soul we call professor, has lend her babysitting services over to three college students as we explore Sweden. Who are the three students you ask? Laura, Amy and Michaelene of sunny Southern California CSUSB.
From March 19th to April 10th this blog will be filled with the adventures we find here in Sweden and we will be bringing them to you live from the tundra.

We hope you enjoy our "educational" vacation.... we plan to.

Cheers~
Michaelene, Amy and Laura.
